So kind of you to show the students more about the memorials and monumental parks in these web sites.
Thank you Muhammad for your feedback. We hope that after seeing the sculptures on the website that students will go to see the sculptures at the various venues. Ronald Rae’s sculptures have a power and a presence that can only be fully experienced when standing before them. To see 14 of his major works at one venue visit the Ronad Rae Sculpture Exhibition at The Falkirk Wheel in central Scotland.
I have appreciated your “Wounded Elephant” at Thenford House Gardens. It connects for me with Terry Kettering’s “The Elephant in the Room” poem quoted at a beareavement support group I am attending
Thank you for this. Ronald Rae was very touched by your email, especially so, as his father died today. I agree Terry Kettering’s moving poem says it all. It is good to know that art and poetry are a comfort to you in your bereavement. Bless you.
