Ask yourself in the middle of a bomb raid

Ask yourself in the middle of a bomb raid
A man walks along with a monkey on his shoulder
What do you do in the circumstance
Do you trust him enough to follow him and his monkey
Do you swear by him to guide you safely through the bombing
In this man’s company given a bowl of soup and a bed for the night
Call it somewhere where all wars go home to
It’s no bad thing to practice your monkey talk
Those monkey eyes staring you through
In the wildest of moments
What is being served here has to be good
