Knit “hitter” Mrs Smith decided to use her skills with textiles to adorn the public sculptures in Milton Keynes. The project was very popular with the locals. Appropriately she adorned “O Wert Thou in the Cauld Blast” with decorative blankets including tartan (reference to the Scottish poet Burns who inspired the sculpture.) The colourful pom poms on the blankets were also used successfully used for the eyes. Well done Mrs Smith!
