INRI Suitcase

Paint, earth and rope on recycled suitcase 14″ x 17″ x 6″ The letters INRI were often depicted on Christ’s cross in religious paintings – they stand for Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews. Rae carved these letters on his granite sculpture Fallen Christ now sited on the island of Iona.
